7. Famvir

8. Valtrex

Valtrex should not be used by anyone with a weak immune system, such as those with HIV infection or those who have undergone a bone marrow or kidney transplant. The effects of Valtrex during pregnancy and breastfeeding have not been adequately studied. Methods other than breast feeding should be considered if Valacyclovir must be taken while nursing.
